"Fifty years after the end of the world, the only ones left are nuked out, zoned-out burnouts. The wildest adventure of all is about to begin."
The great destruction of the world is a fact. The few survivors inhabit the meager remains of the city or in withered areas of the country. The water is rationed and during the weekly division there are horrific battles, in which many are put to the sword. Ethan, leader of Lost Wells, must defend his secret water source tooth and nail. Murder-hungry Derek and his cronies make a surprise attack on Lost Wells. Ethan enlists the help of George Landon, a tough street fighter. The battle that ensues is horrific, Derek has people ritually murdered in order to gain power in Lost Wells.
