He wants to tell her about the horrors he experienced as a soldier, a career that ended with the death of his best friend Scott, Amy's brother. Coincidentally, Dean walks into a cafeteria where he is mistaken by a group of criminals for a CIA agent they are looking for. Dean is unexpectedly injected with XE, an experimental hallucinogen. As a result, he is half of the world and extremely sensitive to suggestion.

A film that clearly deserves more. Although the whole thing comes across as a B-movie and in terms of structure it's pretty standard, but the fact that Snipes' character is under the influence of drugs for almost the entire film makes it a lot more interesting. The estimated amount may have been estimated at twenty million dollars, but I would rather bet on a quarter of that. Unstoppable is another typical story in which the goodguy and the bad guys are involved in a kind of cat-and-mouse game and the secret service revolves around it a bit randomly. The fact that Snipes is easily influenced by drugs makes for very nice things. The scenes in the madhouse are fantastic. You are on fire! And then he fires the fire extinguishers and frees all the patients. The film never gets boring. It's not an absolute hit, but it could have been so much worse. Snipes plays a nice role and the action is very doable.

At the moment looking back at the action movies that I gave at least 4 stars 10 years ago, only to conclude that 10 years can do a lot with your personal taste.

Nevertheless, this film is still very entertaining to watch, not only Snipes is perfectly in place here, but the badguys also come out quite well.

A bit of overacting here and there, but luckily that stayed in the background. The special effects are sometimes laughable but hey, I still managed to entertain me with them.

I can't lose 4 stars from 10 years ago, but this film still deserves a 3 as far as I'm concerned.

"I'm going to kill you all"

The above text calls out Dean Cage (Wesley Snipes), when he discovers that the American secret service has injected him with a substance that induces hallucinations. Other than that, it's a Standard Action/Thriller movie, which works because Wesley Snipes' acting is a perfect fit for a character who doesn't know what's happening.

At first glance, this standard Action / Thriller movie doesn't contain much special. Dean Cage (Wesley Snipes) goes on a routine tour as a traumatized Bosnian veteran. Under the influence of a heavy drug, which makes him extremely sensitive to suggestion, he takes on a bunch of villains.

In this film you see the real reality and that as it is experienced by Dean Cage. Nice in appearance, but not enough for a pass. The fact that the film is easy to digest is not so much because of Wesley Snipes, but because of the trio of villains and the nice Jacqueline Obradors.

Nice to have seen this Action / Thriller movie, but certainly nothing more.
