"A STORY THAT'S TOPS FOR THRILLS!"
The horse Warrior and the dog Lightning have the same birthday. Born in captivity, Warrior and Lightning manage to escape one day and they flee into the wilderness. The two become friends and become loyal comrades. One day, when wolves attack a herd of wild horses, they both come to the rescue. When the animals reconnect with the human world, Warrior is trained by the Bentons to become a racehorse. George Mason, a corrupt horse racing gambler, doesn't want Warrior to win, but he and his henchman Crane haven't counted on Lightning.
