Dusty Rhoades is engaged to Virginia, the daughter of Pakro carmaker Pat MacMurran. He quits racing to please his future father-in-law. Hellis, of the Ronado Car Co., is trying to get an order from a South American dealer and abandons Dusty during a road race. When MacMurran cancels the wedding, Dusty flees with Virginia in a race car. Pursued by her father, they are both arrested for speeding, and Dusty spends two days in jail. Can the tires be mended?
