The Sandpit Generals plot

In Brazil, a group of underprivileged youth forms a street gang. The homeless boys and girls fight for a livelihood, despite all the poverty. They fall back on crime, but this ends when they meet a girl and her little brother. They offer the two a hiding place and consult themselves. With the help of a local priest, they try to walk the right path. But then they are arrested.
