The Righteous Thief plot
Mu-hyeok Hong (Beom-su Lee) is the eighteenth-generation descendant of Hong Kil-dong (a famous Robin Hood-esque Korean knave). During the day, Mu-hyeok Hong works as a music teacher, but at night he is a Hong Kil-dong, a good-hearted thief. His main rival is Jeong-min Lee (Su-ro Kim), a cold-blooded businessman known for bribing politicians for personal gain. When Mu-hyeok gets married to his girlfriend, he faces the dilemma of whether to confide in her about his double life.
