Shawn Dickerson is a rough street kid in his early thirties who is accused of the murder of Brenda Sawyer, a wealthy and prominent elderly lady. Her grieving husband Harry, already distraught after the death of his daughter, decides to take the law into his own hands. The police are also on Shawn's tail, as is the ambitious Assistant District Attorney Ballard. To climb higher she will break the rules. Who will catch Shawn first?
