"Meet the world's most diabolical serial killer"
In a small town, young women suddenly disappear. A local police officer and an overzealous social worker investigate clues about the missing persons. This leads them to a remote pig farm. There they discover that the local butcher has taken his work home and is not just slaughtering cattle.

Director Andy Armstrong comes up with an almost unacceptably boring event that only takes up 5 minutes of screen time for Tyrese Gibson. Squealer is a film that hopes to give color to both the good and the bad side and therefore continues to introduce characters. The problem is that each character is completely uninteresting and barely worthy of the minutes they are given. Ronnie Gene Blevins is the only one who can breathe some life into his character, the rest of the actors and actresses play as if they were under duress. Armstrong walks through the uninteresting set pieces one by one and spices things up left and right with unimpressive murders. Since the viewer is introduced to the murderer after fifteen minutes, there is little point in thinking about the mystery elements, of which there are a surprising number here. The 100 minutes pass absurdly slowly into this sleep-inducing horror film that fans will not miss.
