Speed Crazed plot

Billy Meeks is kidnapped by a gang of criminals and forced to drive the getaway car. The gang leader manages to escape while Billy is arrested along with two of the robbers. Billy escapes and drives at full speed to another town, where he meets Maclyn Harfer, the owner of a race car. However, Maclyn is tricked by the race car driver. This driver is then fired and Billy is hired to drive the car in an important race. Determined to prevent Harfer's car from winning the race, the gang leader who previously kidnapped Billy is determined to have Billy kidnapped again.
