Speed plot
"A Mile a minute of fun and thrills!"
With the help of his mechanic Clarence 'Gadget' Harrigan, an engineer, Frank Lawson, and the company's attractive new publicist, Jane Mitchell, car test driver Terry Martin is developing a new carburetor. However, it is not easy to make it function. By entering cars into the Indy 500 and also doing speed tests at Muroc Dry Lake in California, he tries to get it working properly.
