Decent action movie. Better than expected. Story is ok, as is the cast. Adequate as far as I'm concerned.

Fun popcorn entertainment. Security is quite simple. Die Hard in a shopping mall with Home Alone-esque tricks to take out the bad guys (only the 'chief' security guard is 'armed' with a tazer so yes, you have to fight a bunch of bad guys with a few million in gear). Antonio Banderas is cool. That's how I like to see him. Movie looks good. It's just great fun.

“Nice place you got in here... A little small but very nice.”

Great action thriller in which Banderas has to protect a girl from Ben Kingsley and his heavily armed henchmen. To use a shopping center as a setting is a golden choice because it immediately creates a chilling tension. Banderas can be very invincible at times and I would have liked to see a little more John McClane instead of Rambo, but it does make for some cool fight scenes. Kingsley pops up a lot in these kinds of B-movies these days, but he is very good at these kinds of roles. The man is clearly having fun.

Nice snack that isn't even that bad. Just getting what you expect is, as far as I'm concerned, a fulfilled contract. A well-trained Banderas and Kingsley are the key figures in this low-budget action lick that could be called a "Die Hard in a Shopping Mall". I also find references to Home Alone justified. Also a lot of clichés that were to be expected. Typically one of those movies they release on Q2 with ten minute commercials in between

The unintelligible Banderas plays Home Alone for grown-ups with his painfully unfunny guard posse. Set in a shopping center where a criminal group, led by Ben Kingsley, is targeting a little girl. Previously, they effortlessly dealt with a heavily armed group of FBI agents, but this is clearly too ambitious. The fact that they change from trained killers to Commando (1985)-like targets isn't even a problem. But that it never becomes entertaining nonsense… that is.

I read here references to Home Alone and Die Hard. But this film made me think of Assault on Precinct 13, in which a police station is isolated due to bad weather and attacked by a gang who want to get in. In Security, the police station is a shopping center. The result is a somewhat predictable action film, but Banderas is quite good in this film. The film has the necessary action, matching bland humor and moves forward at a nice pace. Nothing special, but not really boring either. Nice popcorn.
