Sai Gon Nhat Thuc plot

The film is about the fate of Kieu, a beautiful young girl, who is left alone soon after her engagement to her true love when the latter returns home to cope with a death in his family. After parting ways with her future husband, Kieu returns home to find that her father is about to be imprisoned on false charges. She offers herself to take his place without fully understanding the consequences of the life she has chosen.
