"Through a Hail of Lead to Reckless Romance!"

Rich young Joyce Reid hides on a freighter bound for China, with passengers her rambunctious sweetheart and pilot, Dan Bailey, and her ammunition-producing father, EJ Reid. The ship's cargo includes several bombs and machine guns. When Joyce is discovered and taken hostage by some cunning Easterners, Dan will have to agree to fly a bombing plane for some Chinese bandits. If he manages to meet this requirement, they will release Joyce.
