In 2010, an unidentified life form appears in Central America. The phenomenon is soon linked to a NASA probe, which is said to have crashed somewhere in the Western Hemisphere. In 2018, the life form has turned into a devastating disaster. Many regions worldwide have been quarantined. Areas surrounded by high walls and with all waterways and bridges guarded.
