Midway through the shootout in that interrogation camp but quickly expelled. 8 million bullets, everyone running through the screen uncovered... pfffff you can't make it more unbelievable but ok if you like it you're good.

Watched it today, thought it was an entertaining action movie, but not that special or spectacular.

The film takes place in 1 location which is a kind of island where prisoners are kept and 1 of them has to transfer Scott Adkins and his Navy Seals team to Washington, while he is being questioned by some people, suddenly another team storms in who also finds out this prisoner.

A lot of shootings and bullets flying around, very few fights, but plenty of action and explosions, sometimes reminded me a bit of ''the Marine'' movies.

I had thought that they went to a different location at the end, but the film had already ended, so the ending was a bit strange and the camera work was therefore recorded with 1 shot, sometimes a bit confused, but it was okay.

So, all in all, an entertaining film, but nothing really special.

Yes, the entire film set looks like an old factory site where you can play paintball with your Kruidvat colleagues and then grill stone.

And the poster is very ugly.

And the story is predictable.

But damn, it was just a good movie. There are actually two things going very well. First, the fact that everything seems to be shot in one take. So there is only one camera angle. The cameraman smoothly moves from good guys to bad guys. It occasionally veers towards too much handheld shaky cam, but it's such a fun experiment you have to appreciate it.

The title is therefore a nice play on words: on the one hand a reference to the camera work, on the other hand the main characters have one chance to prevent a major disaster.

Secondly, you see that they brought in an expert who taught the actors how real soldiers move. How they duck behind a concrete block, for example: it looks a bit crazy, but will undoubtedly be the fastest and safest way to get in and out of low cover. Or how to turn 180 degrees with a long gun in a short space. Or how you give each other the opportunity to retreat safely with alternating covering fire.

In short: the film shows how trained soldiers blindly rely on learned maneuvers during combat operations. I'm no connoisseur, at most above average interested in this sort of thing - but it looks convincing enough.

But, it remains a film, so at some point the realism is thrown overboard. The corpses pile up faster than in a computer game and the hordes of bad guys just keep plunging into the barrage like deafblind zombies.

Nevertheless very entertaining.

Damn, I'm just going to do it: 3.5 stars, hopsakee.
