Nightcast plot

In the "horror future," a wealthy businessman and his sadistic son have brought the state and police under their control. They fight the resistance fighters with a heavily armed mercenary army. As one of the last sincere agents, Harry Brighton also falls prey to the businessman. But Brighton won't be buried without being upgraded to a genetically modified super soldier. Brighton, however, has no desire to kill in his new state as a mercenary. Instead, he prefers to look for his own identity. Who and what was he in his past life?
