Life Outside plot

Life Outside tells the story of Ray, a former cop who has become homeless, and Liam, a young man caught up in crime. When Liam tries to escape the police one night after a busted drug deal, he bumps into Ray walking down the street with his shopping cart. Ray is looking for his daughter Gemma and her mother whom he hasn't seen in 15 years. What he doesn't know, however, is that Liam is Gemma's boyfriend and has been kidnapped by Liam's gang.
