Kappei plot
In the 16th century, the French astrologer Nostradamus predicted that the world would end in July 1999. Cataclysms would turn the earth into a lawless place where evil can rule. To combat this, Kappei and other boys on an isolated island in Japan are trained by their master. When it's 2022, and still nothing has happened, the group is disbanded and the fighters are tasked with living a normal life. Kappei soon finds out in modern Tokyo, where he comes into contact with pure love, friendship and conflict, that he has not been trained for this at all.
