Il Figlio dello Secco plot
Luigi Panacchioni is a man in his thirties who lives with his domineering mother. He dreams of opening his own gas station, but can't get a permit because he doesn't know the right people in the Italian bureaucracy. He becomes involved in a plot to obtain oil concessions in the Persian Gulf. He soon discovers his personal relationship with a sheikh.
