Adam Trent is an ex-cop turned businessman. When he is injected with a serum by a group of gamblers, he realizes that his struggle for survival is nothing more than a form of elite entertainment. Gamblers bet on how long the target, that is, Trent, will stay alive while being chased by assassins.
