"We don't belong out here."
A mining ship with a small crew is on its way to the moon Caliban, where twenty years ago the former mining crew suddenly disappeared. Nearing their destination, the ship is disabled by a force from the moon and they crash into the sandy surface. On foot, they try to find the vanished mining colony, while being chased by an unknown person and huge worms explode out of the sand in search of food.
