Downdraft plot

Now that the Cold War is over, MINOTAUR, the supercomputer that controls the US military's nuclear weapons arsenal, can be shut down. However, the creator of MINOTAUR, Dr. Stewart Lagrange, refuses to cooperate in the destruction of his creation and threatens to start World War III within 24 hours. Special Agent Jack Slater is called in, along with Russian computer expert Alexa Belekonev, to defuse the MINOTAUR.
