Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) comes to his senses at the hands of some Chinese gang members who steal his heart and replace it with an artificial one. This runs on batteries that require regular electric shock to keep working. Chev follows a race through Los Angeles to set things right, take revenge and find his heart again.

Ever seen part 1, and since that style managed to entertain me in the end, I also set up part 2 for a while. Once again Taylor & Neveldine continue with the quite busy, sometimes almost impossible to follow style of filming, which is nice in that respect, but in the end it was nice.
Statham is great fun again, still one of the better action heroes in my opinion. He has the looks, but often also comes across as a very nice comedian. Unfortunately, he's the only one that's really fun in the movie, because the rest is really quite annoying. Why Bai Ling? Also Amy Smart is just not funny.
The way of filming remains interesting, but eventually it starts to get a bit boring. Especially because through that speed, there is little fun action in it. Also, due to the busy camera use, the action is often simply impossible to follow. That's where part of the 'kick' comes from.
It remains smooth, the playing time is not too long and luckily the momentum never goes out. The interesting camera angles and speed that are created by it never gets boring and helps the film to get a good enough score.
For the rest it is not too memorable, then part 1 is just a bit better. The style also shouldn't be overused, unless the action really gives a bit of a kick, otherwise Crank 3 doesn't have to happen from me. I did see it.

Haha a lot of nonsense and over the top up to and including and even a bit kitchy and you can't take anything seriously, which is certainly not a must, remains hilarious action and speed, you won't get bored with this
