Burning Daylight plot
Elam "Burning Daylight" Harnish's penchant for speculation and gambling leads him to San Francisco, where he is taken in by a group of corrupt capitalists and a city woman who lures him away from loyal Vergie, the former dance-hall girl turned stenographer who has followed him to the big city. Betrayed by his so-called business partners, Elam realizes his mistake and administers a little frontier justice before attempting to escape with Vergie back to Alaska.
