Brave Citizen plot
"Purring in the face of injustice."
So Si-min was once a promising boxer during her college years. She now works temporarily as a teacher at a school. Her only goal is to become a permanent teacher. To achieve this goal, she ignores disturbing situations at the school. However, one of the students in her class, Han Su-gang, is problematic and is constantly looking for arguments to fight. So-min, who has no patience for injustice and Su-gang's evil behavior, decides to reform him by transforming himself into a vigilante in a cat mask at night.

I'm not a fan of fight movies, but this is one of the few exceptions to that rule. That's mainly because an arrogant, ruthless bully is ultimately treated to a taste of his own medicine. I like it when so-called “tough guys” are crushed.

Reasonable action film with a touch of drama and comedy. The story is not very surprising and predictable. The execution is well done. The build-up is good and you can feel the tension rising until the finale. Until then, drama and action scenes alternate with a light wink in the form of some humor. That combination is quite successful despite the contradictions of genres. The acting is also of a good level with a nice performance by Shin. 3.5
