Blocking the Horse plot

During the Yongxi Northern Expedition at the beginning of the Song Dynasty, Yang Ye, commander-in-chief of the Western Army, ventures alone deep into the region. He heroically sacrifices himself and posthumously receives the nine-pronged golden sword, which ends up in the territory of the Liao Dynasty. Ten years later, when Yang Baba and Yang Jiumei have come of age, they cherish thoughts of their father in the afterlife and vow to retrieve the golden sword and restore the glory of the Great Song Dynasty.
