The new trailer has been released for thriller Manodrome, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Adrien Brody.
The official premise reads:
'Ralphie, a New York Uber driver, is struggling to make ends meet with his pregnant partner, Sal. Ralphie is introduced to an intense all-male self-help group by a friend, and after suffering a breakdown, he descends into madness.'
In addition to Eisenberg and Brody, Manodrome stars Odessa Young, Sallieu Sesay, Philip Ettinger, Ethan Suplee, Evan Jonigkeit, Caleb Eberhardt and Georghe Murressean.
South African director John Trengove is behind the camera.
The movie had its world premiere at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival in the opening weekend of the Main Competition and was nominated for the prestigious Golden Bear award.
It has received mostly positive reviews from critics so far, with particular praise for the performance of Eisenberg as Ralphie.
From the trailer, it seems like Ralphie undergoes a major personality change after meeting the self-help group led by the mysterious Dan.
