'A misunderstood teenager and a reanimated corpse embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness and a few missing body parts.'
Lisa Frankenstein is a modern take on the Frankenstein story with a romantic comedy twist.
Newton is, of course, no stranger to the horror-comedy genre as she has starred in the successful Freaky back in 2020. This is Williams' feature-length directorial debut after previously helming and starring in a series of shorts.
Sprouse has dabbled in teen-based horror, too, due to his role in Riverdale.
From looking at the trailer, all the Frankenstein tropes are in place, from the reanimated body to the, well, murders. It will be released in cinemas on 9 February 2024.
