Simon Pegg is, of course, no stranger to the horror genre, having starred in one of the most popular horror comedies of all time, Shaun of the Dead, back in 2004.
He has largely stayed away from that genre since, and is currently starring in big-budget action juggernauts like Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One which was released worldwide in July.
However, he is still clearly a horror fan, and has imparted that wisdom onto his youngest daughter, Tilly, whom he showed the remake of IT when she was just nine years old!
"My daughter is a big horror movie fan. One of the reasons is I showed her Andy Muschietti's IT when she was nine," Pegg said while promoting Dead Reckoning alongside co-star Rebecca Ferguson.

Upon hearing this, Ferguson responded: "What?! That is like a social care issue."
Pegg went on to explain a bit more.
"Well, I thought it was a bit like Stranger Things," he continued.
"I told Andy Muschietti about this - not naming dropping or anything - but I saw him at a screening and Tilly was with me and I said 'Hey this is Andy he directed IT and he said 'Oh you saw it, how old was she?'
"I said 'nine' and he said 'what?!' and I felt bad, I felt like a bad parent.
"After two weeks of sleeping with the lights on - horror madness. She loves it now. She's seen all of it. The worst ones.
"We watched Martyrs together.
