Over its five-year run, 113 episodes of the series aired.
Back in 2013, it was Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who came close to being confirmed for a remake of The Fall Guy, with McG set to direct, but nothing materialised from those negotiations at the time and so the project went back into development.
Nearly a decade later, it was greenlit with Ryan Gosling in the lead role alongside Emily Blunt., Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham and Winston Duke.
The official premise reads:
'A battered and past-his-prime stuntman finds himself working on a movie set with the star for whom he doubled long ago and who replaced him. The star then goes missing.'
Taylor-Johnson plays the missing star, and director David Leitch says the actor was initially apprehensive about the role, despite the pair working together well on Bullet Train.
"I think it's always daunting for an actor to play that sort of narcissistic actor," Leitch joked to EW. "(Aaron) came in cautious, but at one point, he just said, 'You know what? I'm going for it.' And he turned on the gas."
"I want to call Aaron on every single movie, he's so fun, he's so talented, he's so collaborative. I had the best time on Bullet Train with him and Brian (Tyree Henry). Playing such a maniacal actor type is a little scary for an actor! He's a pro and he's so funny. I'm excited we've gotten to do comedy with him and he's created a great character that people will love and hate at the same time."
