De beginjaren van de 21e eeuw zijn nou eenmaal even brak als de mid tot late nineties. Daar gaat mijn aandacht dus ook niet tot nauwelijks naar uit (2002 gewoon níks boven de 4*). Vanaf 2004/2005 is het genre pas écht weer op de goede weg en zie je van all over the place pareltjes verschijnen.

2002 - Hyn Huet Ching Nin (zelfs 4.5*)

Dat is toch je eigen mening hoor jeroentjuhhhhh, kwestie van smaak. Zo te zien hou je meer van gore en veel kills, terwijl anderen (ik bijvoorbeeld) misschien meer voor de subtiele horrors gaan die onder je huid kruipen.

Uiteraard, maar ik zit hier dan ook namens mezelf en niet als vertegenwoordiger van MM. Krijg al kramp in m'n vingers bij de gedachte dat ik overal 'vind ik' voor moet gaan typen.

En thanks Onderhond ik vertrouw er maar weer blindelings op Genoteerd.

Vreemd dat Uzumaki (2000) hier nog niet genoemd is door de Asia-liefhebbers.

Omdat horror niet meteen mijn favoriete genre is, beperk ik me tot een top 3.
