A Mother's Prayer plot
Rosemary Holmstrom, widow and mother of eight-year-old TJ, discovers she has AIDS. It turns out that the blood her husband received during his illness was contaminated with the AIDS virus. Rosemary, whose health is rapidly deteriorating, sets out to find a new family for her son. Because she has few other relatives and she does not have good contact with them, she visits adoption agencies. However, she cannot find any adoption agency where she can get to know the adoptive parents before the adoption takes place. Afraid that TJ will simply be assigned to humans or foster care after her death, Rosemary decides to become her own adoption agency by looking for it herself. Then the race against time begins to find new parents for TJ in time.
