Okay.
Like most of Plympton's films, actually. There is no shortage of nice ideas, it doesn't take too long and it is conceptually well put together. Yet in the end his films don't do much for me.
Although the art style is quite nice, it usually doesn't keep me interested for an hour+. The animation is good, but it doesn't really appeal. In terms of style, it's a bit too European for my taste, so I keep losing my attention a little after halfway through his film.
But definitely worth it for animation fans. Much better than the American CG animation and there are some really nice scenes, but as a whole a bit too sterile.

Plympton is great! Of course, what the surface says is all true. But the best man animates such a film pretty much on his own. The music is essential in this and the film looks like a long dance. Full of powerful bodies and unpretentious, imaginative. Sometimes scenes take quite a long time, each idea is fully developed. That sometimes makes it a bit difficult to watch and can cause your attention to wane. But the style is unique and the theme timeless. Animation fans must have seen something from Plympton. As far as I'm concerned, he comes into his own better in his short films.
