Halam Geldi plot
After the final split of Cyprus into a Greek and Turkish part in 1974, people with a traditional background from the Turkish mainland moved to Akincilar, a village in the north of the island. They brought their entrenched family customs with them. The film is about the impact of these customs on the lives of two 13-year-old girls and a boy of the same age.
