"One day a week, every week for a year"
16-year-old Billie is stunned when she learns that her mother wants to be transformed from woman to man, and that she must live with her father during this time. Billie and her mother have always been very close, so they agree to meet every Tuesday of the year they've been divorced. As her mother undergoes the transformation, she begins to become less emotionally accessible and Billie discovers her own identity and sexuality.
