The hilarious trailer made me want to see this. The movie itself has nothing to do with the film and was probably just there to capitalize on the success of slashers like When a Stranger Calls. Even though this movie isn't even a slasher.

It's difficult to define what it is, because the focus is so excessively on irrelevant side plots involving a pseudo-psychologist and two spineless cops who are even more incompetent than Chief Wiggum. At one point, they raid the house of their suspect's neighbor. Luckily for them, the killer is just as clueless: he uses his real name everywhere and is happy to give everyone his address.

Occasionally, it has a kind of sleazy charm, but unfortunately, the film tries to be more psychologically profound than the usual slice-and-dice fare. The murder scenes, thanks to Nicholas Worth's embarrassing performance, are also seriously flawed.

Sickening rape and strangle horror, and our killer also indulges in mutilation and insertions, but all of that is kept off-screen.

Most of the film follows the police investigation into the killer and is quite boring.

The only plus point is the sometimes hilarious killer.

You rarely see such bad acting as in this film, especially from the bad guy, which does not mean that the rest of the cast acts well, furthermore the story is decent but the execution is very mediocre weird cuts, sometimes very mediocre soundtrack, only the fight scenes are done reasonably well but when shots are fired you do not even see the effect of bullet impacts (a pretty standard action effect in my opinion).

And furthermore the story is just very mediocre, incompetent agents, stupid killer, and the most stupid decisions of almost all characters in which there is little logic to be found

The ending makes a complete mess of it by just almost cutting the film off with no final scene.
