Good thriller with three top actors with a rich film history and all three are older

age perform here, with Olivia de Havilland in particular making an impression. Those like rich ones

mentally unstable woman just returned from an asylum in her country house, by no one

It is believed that she heard a woman calling for help underground.

And even to her astonishment she also saw the woman's face, with this

I think especially in view of later scenes at the place where the woman is under the

ground, there is some implausibility.

The film title refers to the screams of Olivia de Havilland, running towards it

country house to ask for help. But just recovered from her visit to an institution,

she is therefore more likely to be seen as crazy (with an immediate expected setback) than that

it is taken seriously.

But the old woman turns out to be a stiff aunt who doesn't want to know anything about hallucinations, even though she gets them

she has her doubts for a moment. And continues to feel responsible for the woman underground

save her life. In the meantime, we gain insight into the reason for live burial

of the woman underground, and are therefore also informed of who the

is the perpetrator.

The film lacks a bit of tension, with the liberating ending being obvious

Highlight.
