Brewster lives in the catacombs of a large sports arena and has devoted his life to designing a flying device that will allow him to take to the skies under his own power. Louise, a guardian angel without wings, supports him and does not shy away from murder. When Brewster falls in love with the guide Suzanne and tells her of his plans, she informs the police.
