Bhutan is one of the least developed countries in the world. There is hardly any industry and electricity was far from self-evident. Until recently, living without television, let alone the Internet, was the most normal thing. Finally, in 1999, television and the Internet made their appearance, officially announced by King Jigme Singye Wangchuk. For the small villages in the Himalayas where Bhutan is located, this meant a revolution. In the last village that was connected lives eight-year-old Peyangki, a dreamy loner and Buddhist monk.
