"Survivors will become heroes."
When an Allied attack on the German positions in 1916 fails dramatically, Sergeant Major Arthur Wilkins (Johan Earl) is stranded in no man's land between the trenches on the Western Front. Together with two other soldiers who survived the battle, he tries to make his way through the inhospitable French landscape. Before long, however, enemy forces track them down, and as they are surrounded by the infernal din of explosions and machine guns, tensions between the trio begin to mount.
