"Once is never enough."
While exploring Australia's beautiful beaches, Alice finds herself in the remote coastal town of Eagle's Nest. Here she falls in love and marries Jack, the owner of a local bar. However, the marriage soon falls into disrepair and Alice begins an affair with a young surfer. Alice is forced to outwit her clever sister-in-law Lucy and evade Charlie, a private detective who Jack has hired as a hit man. However, an unexpected danger comes from Nathan, a humble dentist who sees only one way to pay off his gambling debts.
