Sudba Cheloveka plot
Andrei Sokolov (Bondarchuk) is captured by the Nazis during World War II. He must go through hell, but the thought that he will ever be with his loved ones again keeps him going. When he is finally released, it turns out that his entire family was murdered during the war.
