"A city screams in terror!"

After the Gill Man escapes from Ocean Harbor, a team of scientists - led by Dr. William Barton - out to catch the beast. They find him in the Everglades. While trying to capture him, the creature is burned by fire. The unconscious Gill man is treated by a group of doctors. However, it doesn't take long for the creature to escape again...
