Director Morgan Spurlock follows the band closely during a tour and, in addition to interviews, offers a look behind the scenes of this hit sensation.

Spurlock follows Harry, Liam, Zayn, Niall and Louis during their 2013 world tour, in which the boys also work on their third studio album between shows. Hordes of screaming girls and staged jokes perpetuate One Direction's image as pop stars who are also just naughty teenagers. The feigned spontaneity quickly becomes boring, but the individual conversations with the boys yield interesting statements that (especially after Liam's tragic death) prove to be prophetic. Of course, fans of the time will appreciate this more. Was also shown in 3D in the cinema.
