Not really.

From the director of the much better The Notebook , this is clearly a big flop. Diaz in particular does not fit in this film at all. In any case, more of an actress who was better off around the year 2000. Mann and Upton are doing a bit better, but in general they don't play very well either.

The story is bland, as is the humor. It's still a nice idea, but it quickly falls apart because of the dull humor. Only being able to laugh somewhere towards the end, for the rest it was not to be seen. Diaz plays painfully unfunny.

Towards the end the film is a bit funnier but relies too much on silly humor. The film does look easy, admittedly. But Cassavetes can do much better and this seems to be meant as some kind of joke or a bet that he has lost.

Although I didn't expect anything from it and I don't really have it with Diaz, I thought this one was quite funny! A well deserved 3 stars! But I can imagine that especially (or only?) women can appreciate it

Terrible.

Comedy, but one that is never funny. The characters and their interpreters are bloody irritating. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in his Jaime Lannister period in this kind of movie? Incomprehensible. Way too good an actor for this nonsense.

Seen in corona times with the madam. Handy as a reminder not to let them choose.
