Violet plot
At the start of a long, hot summer, a boy is stabbed in a shopping arcade on his way home. It's Jonas, sixteen years old. He is in the presence of Jesse (15), his best friend. Surveillance footage captures the murder and shows the two perpetrators on the run. Jesse, in shock, is taken care of at home by his mother Marie and his father Walter. Meanwhile, an investigation is opened in the shopping arcade. Television crews gather to report on the case.
