Blu, Jewel and their three children have a perfect life in the magical city of Rio de Janeiro. When Jewel decides that the children should learn to live like real birds, she insists that the family go to the Amazon. I had a great time with the first part, gave 3.5* for that too. Rio 2 unfortunately does not reach that level. There are too few successful jokes, too many exaggerated songs, too few endearing characters. As a result, the whole never ends up being sufficient. Too bad, because it all looks beautiful with all the colors.

A nice movie, but less so than the first part. I liked the story a little less. Visually it looked fine again, but I also found the songs a bit less.
A fun animation film that is suitable for the whole family and contains a beautiful message.
