I had a great time with the first part, gave 3.5* for that too. Rio 2 unfortunately does not reach that level. There are too few successful jokes, too many exaggerated songs, too few endearing characters. As a result, the whole never ends up being sufficient. Too bad, because it all looks beautiful with all the colors.

A nice movie, but less so than the first part. I liked the story a little less. Visually it looked fine again, but I also found the songs a bit less.
A fun animation film that is suitable for the whole family and contains a beautiful message.
