Enter the Dangerous Mind plot

Jim is a shy, socially awkward, musical genius whose inner demons are stirred when he develops an obsession with Wendy, a young social worker who is drawn to Jim through his naive desire to help people. Jim's fixation becomes more serious when Wendy rejects him and enlists the help of her mentor Kevin. Together, they try to unravel Jim's inner torments before things get out of hand.
