The Care Bears Movie plot
"What happens when the world stops caring?"
The Care Bears live in a country high in the clouds, where they have a lot of fun together. However, they also care about the human children on Earth, who view them from the sky with large telescopes and come to their aid when needed. Nikolas, a sorcerer's apprentice, is in danger of falling under the influence of an evil spirit that resides in an old spellbook. Kids Kim and Jason don't trust anyone after being disappointed too many times. The Care Bears take them to their wonderland where they experience exciting and dangerous adventures together and quickly become good friends...

This is a typical example that some cartoon series should just remain a series. It could also be because of the nostalgia that I actually liked the series. Only this is too long-winded for a film and should have been avoided. Which is what goes wrong with many well-known series. There is simply a difference in approach.
