Ni Na Bian Ji Dian plot
Young watch salesman Hsiao Kang works on the streets of Taipei. The day after his father's death, he meets a girl. She tells him she is going to Paris. In silent desire, Hsiao Kang then sets all the clocks he encounters to Paris time and watches Truffaut's 'Les Quatre Cents Coups' on video. Meanwhile, his newly widowed mother is constantly busy with the (hopefully) return of her husband and the girl wanders lonely through the city in Paris.
